The deadline for nominations for the 10th annual Greene County Community Impact Award is approaching. Saturday, March 30, is the final day to have nominations postmarked for consideration. Nominations can also be hand delivered to 506 S. Walnut St. in Jefferson by Saturday. Impact Award nomination forms are available at each library in Greene County.The award honors those who have made a difference in the Greene County community with social, educational, or cultural contributions. While communities recognize local leaders, the Impact Award seeks out those making a difference county-wide.
This year’s recipient will be announced April 24.
The Greene County Community Impact Award will be presented in early May in courthouse rotunda with a ceremony and reception.
